1. Closing Elementary Schools? Against it.
2. Comments:   He is the ONLY school board member who voted against the $100 million Mega school project and he voted against the salary increase for Golde.
*Mike stands apart from the other school board members just by being polite and respectful of the Parents who show up at the school board meetings.

Address:           4057 Calico Dr, 16506
Current Job:      General Exterminating co-owner/owner of Erie Small Business All.

1. Closing Elementary Schools? Against it
2. Comments: Donna was prepared and organized at the April 30th School Board Forum. She wants to bring integrity and fiscal responsibility back to the school board. I also liked Donna’s thoughtful, money-saving ideas for the school district.

1. Closing Elementary Schools? I haven’t verified it but he has given me that impression.
2. Comments: John was also very prepared at the April 30th Forum. He had some very good ideas about what the Millcreek School board could do going forward.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lou Aliota

1. Closing elementary schools? Against it.
2. Term Limits? Yes. Per Facebook comments, he is for term limits.
3. Comments:   Lou has been respectful and professional on the No New McDowell page and he has been involved with research and right to know letters from the very beginning.

Quote from Mike Kobylka: The only other candidate you should consider [in addition to Reese, Pitzer, Pike] is Aliota. Lou put a lot of work in all the written requests he has gathered over the past year against building a new McDowell.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Benjamin Pike
Website:           I could not find a website or a Facebook page
Address:          4715 Glenwood Park Ave, 16509
Current Job:     owner of an auto body shop
Comments: I liked some of the comments he made at the April 30th Candidates Forum. He came across as fiscally conservative. He is a good candidate. I am more familiar with the other candidates due to their involvement with No New McDowell.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Christopher Busko
Website:                 I could not find a website or a Facebook page
Address:                 824 Marshall Drive, 16505
Current Job:           Vice President of Quantum Plating
Closing Elementary schools?  He gave the impression that he thought it was unavoidable during the forum
Term Limits?          Not available
Comments: In the Public Forum on April 30th, it seemed as if Christopher was nervous and not as well prepared as the other candidates. I say this with respect because it is not easy to get up in front of people and state your positions.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

John M. DiPlacido – absolute NO!!

Court of Common Pleas - May 2013

Current Job:  First Assistant District Attorney for Erie County

Endorsements:  District Attorney Jack Daneri, Pennsylvania State Police Swanson Memorial Lodge 48, and Erie County FOP William Tyler Memorial Lodge No. 64.

Pro-Life? Yes. He is the only candidate to respond to People for Life’s survey.

Comments:     There is no doubt Bob is an experienced attorney. He has over 30 years of courtroom experience. I like his description of what a “truly great judge” should be on his website.

Website Quote: “…they (Judges) must be tough on crime, particularly violent crimes involving guns and child victims…” / He has been the voice for victims of domestic abuse and sex offenders.

Pro-Life? Yes?? He didn’t reply to the People for Life survey but he did reply to my email stating he and his wife are members of People for Life.

Comments: Joe is the only candidate who is a veteran, and he actively supports our veterans. His website is the most detailed. I like his “Why am I running for judge?” and “Why should you vote for me?” sections on his website.

Comments: Jamie comes across as an experienced attorney and a caring family man. He has a great story but I really haven’t seen any statements portraying a strong concern for crime victims.

Hometown:    Fairview, PA

Current Job:   Lawyer at his own private practice

Endorsements: n/a

Pro-Life? Unknown. He didn’t reply to the People for Life survey.

Comments: There isn’t as much information available about Bill Kelly Jr. except for the Times News article. It is interesting that his sister is already an Erie County Judge. Kelly has said "I don't think voters should support me because of Libby's position nor do I think it is a strike against me."
