Casey on Taxes and Spending
·         Casey honestly believes spending more money is the answer. He voted for Obama’s Stimulus bills and after reading his statements, he would support even more Spending bills.
·         Bob believes organizations and special interest groups should still receive millions of dollars even if they have been caught engaging in illegal activity. (See ACORN and Planned Parenthood notes on resources page).
·         Bob openly supports Tax Increases on Individuals or Small Businesses who make $250,000 or more.
·         Bob’s record shows that he has voted with Obama more than 90% of the time.
·         Tea Party – the tea party stands for less taxes and less spending. Casey has repeatedly attacked Tom Smith for being involved with the Tea Party. His ads portray Tom Smith as being loony for having anything to do with Tea Parties.

NOTES:

**ACORN NOTES: Acorn is a now defunct community organization that has recently been under investigation for embezzlement, voter fraud, child trafficking, amongst other things. ACORN received millions of our tax dollars. See Casey's vote below.

"After seeing undercover video of ACORN employees promoting prostitution, even underage prostitution, the Senate voted 83 - 7 to stop giving ACORN federal money. But seven Senators opposed that – .… and Casey of Pennsylvania.” Billoreilly.com (2009)

***Planned Parenthood NOTES: This note isn’t about abortion. Planned Parenthood was caught aiding and abetting prostitution rings multiple times ON TAPE in early 2011 and they do not comply with mandatory reporting laws for sexual abuse.

Planned Parenthood gets more than 360 million dollars a year from American taxpayers. There are many arguments against this funding. But for right now, the main reason I will give here is that no unethical, shady organization that has been caught multiple times trying to aid child traffickers should get a dime of taxpayer dollars.

The house voted to defund Planned Parenthood but the defunding got stopped in the Senate. Bob Casey is one of the senators who voted against defunding Planned Parenthood – even though he is supposedly pro-life.
