  • Encourage Businesses to locate and expand in Erie County and to enact an apprenticeship/mentoring program instead of building and financing a Community College.

  • Utilize the resources of our infrastructure.

Comments:     His Business Plan is sound and well thought out. His Facebook page, website, and flyers are well detailed and I know right where he stands on Erie County’s fiscal issues. I love his 10/25 Q&A on his facebook page.

Comments:     Kathy comes across as well spoken. However, her website and facebook page is uninformative. Her answers in the Erie Times News articles are “foggy” and “generic”. I want specifics. I want a list of those goals. I am looking for an Erie County business plan. I can’t find it.

Also, Kathy has made references to her experience as a congresswoman. I happen to be one of those who believes that her …. vote on the Obamacare bill was a bad economic decision and detrimental to my family. Therefore, I don’t quite trust that she would make sound economic decisions as my County Executive. Of course, if you love the Obamacare bill, then you might think differently.

Summary:  Don Tucci gets my vote. His ideas and goals are clear and specific. He said he would focus on closely watching finances and building strong relationships with officials at the state and federal levels as well as County Council. Kathy is giving me the impression that we’ll find out what her plans are after she gets elected. This makes me wary.

As always, I encourage you to do your own research and come to your own conclusion.
